POD Conducts Water Quality Tests before Distribution to Displacement Camps

As part of its commitment to providing safe water to displaced communities, the Palestinian Organization for Development (POD) conducts water quality checks before distribution to the targeted camps.

The testing process includes measuring total dissolved solids (TDS), checking residual chlorine levels, and measuring the water’s pH. These indicators help assess the quality of the supplied water and verify its suitability for use.

The checks are carried out before distribution to reduce health risks associated with contaminated or unsuitable water and to ensure that families receive water that meets the required safety standards.

Through these procedures, POD strengthens quality control within its water-supply activities and supports safer access to water for displaced families in central and southern Gaza.

What was achieved?

  • Water quality was checked before distribution through TDS, residual chlorine, and pH testing. This strengthened quality control and helped reduce potential health risks for participating families.
