POD Raises Awareness about Chickenpox Symptoms and Prevention

As part of its health education efforts, the Palestinian Organization for Development (POD) conducted an awareness activity focusing on chickenpox, one of the common contagious illnesses affecting children.

The activity provided participants with clear information about the most common symptoms of chickenpox and the importance of recognizing possible cases at an early stage. It also addressed practical preventive measures that can help reduce transmission within families and community settings.

The session emphasized the importance of hygiene, limiting close contact with infected individuals, and seeking appropriate medical advice when symptoms appear.
